The GPO Witness History Museum is an award-winning, interactive visitor attraction located inside the historic General Post Office in Dublin. It focuses on the events of the 1916 Easter Rising, which eventually led to the creation of the Irish Republic.
Most visitors spend about 1 hour exploring the museum. The experience is self-guided, allowing you to engage with the interactive exhibits, videos, and authentic artifacts at your own pace.
The museum is open from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 and 17:00. Please note that the museum is closed on Sundays, public holidays, December 23rd, and Christmas Eve. Last admission is at 16:00.
